YETC was founded on May 25/2022, in Kakuma Refugee Camp, Kenya, as a community-based nonprofit organization designed to uplift orphans, vulnerable youth, and host community members. Its core mission is to offer them access to quality education, daily meals, entrepreneurial and vocational skills, emotional support, and safe accommodation, thereby promoting personal growth and community integration. SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES.1. To build a strong, inclusive community that inspires youth and community members to discover and shape their future. 2. To nurture and develop the talents of young people without discrimination or hypocrisy, supporting both the community and the host community.3. To offer special programs including sports, creative activities, and inclusive opportunities that help youth, people with disabilities (including the deaf community), and others unlock their creativity and potential. 4. To promote individual development by providing opportunities for learners to discover and develop their unique talents, interests, and abilities while building strong character traits such as honesty, responsibility, and respect.
