GreenCamp; a climate adaptation pilot project with support from International Centre for Research in Agroforestry (ICRAF), engaged refugees and locals transplanting 500 multipurpose tree seedlings in Zone Two of Imvepi refugee settlement. The seedlings included 200 acacia, 190 moringa, 10 neem and 100 papaws. This was in response to drought that perished crops of local communities. The initiative also engaged in awareness and local stakeholder engagement creating 7 reusable climate awareness audio programmes.
