Through our Climate-Smart Agriculture sector, We empowers vulnerable communities through sustainable farming, food security, and green livelihoods. By promoting practical training, efficient resource use, and community-led solutions, we help youth and women build resilience, generate income, and adapt to climate change. The Project supports vulnerable households, youth, and women through sustainable farming, environmental conservation, and livelihood development. The project includes community mobilization, practical agricultural training, establishment of demonstration farms, and distribution of farming inputs such as seeds and tools. Participants learn climate-smart farming methods including kitchen gardening, organic farming, water conservation, and sustainable irrigation techniques suitable for dry areas like Kakuma refugee Camp. The project also promotes income generation, food security, and environmental protection through activities such as tree planting, compost making, and community clean-up campaigns. Through regular mentorship, monitoring, and community support, AUVD aims to help communities build resilience, improve livelihoods, and create healthier and more sustainable environments.
