The Blossoms of Hope Initiative supports sustainable livelihoods by empowering marginalized women in Kakuma with practical skills like weaving, knitting, and financial literacy. In 2024, we trained 75 women to create marketable products, providing them with the tools and knowledge needed to generate income and achieve financial independence. Through mentorship and group savings initiatives, participants collectively saved over Ksh 500,000, enabling them to support their families and invest in small businesses. This initiative has not only enhanced economic stability but also strengthened social bonds and self-reliance among women in the community.
