Livelihood Project: Sustainable Farming Program The Caring for Widows and Orphans Organization implemented a Sustainable Farming Program to empower widows, orphans, and vulnerable community members in Kakuma refugee camp. The project provided agricultural training in modern farming techniques, crop management, and soil conservation. Participants also received seeds and manure to start small-scale farms, allowing them to grow their own food and generate income. This initiative aimed to enhance food security, reduce dependence on aid, and promote economic self-sufficiency, fostering long-term sustainability and livelihood improvement within the community.
