We are implementing an ongoing community-based education and social cohesion project in Durban, working with asylum seekers, refugees, immigrants, and marginalised youth. The initiative provides basic education, language support, and skills training to improve employability, while facilitating dialogue sessions that promote social cohesion and reduce xenophobia. Through participatory workshops and peer learning, participants build confidence, leadership abilities, and community networks. The project collaborates with local organisations to ensure sustainability and access to resources, continuously empowering beneficiaries to actively participate in economic and social life while fostering inclusive and resilient communities.
