EcoRise South Sudan’s Pathways to Resilience project (Jan–May 2025) provided critical support to 100 war- and GBV-affected women through: •Entrepreneurship training and $10,000 in micro grants (50 women). •Trauma healing/SEL sessions (600+ participants), with 60% reporting GBV exposure. •Housing repairs ($9,000) for 30 survivors facing extreme vulnerability. Funded solely by EcoRise’s Board ($15,940), the project demonstrated impact but faced overwhelming demand,1,000+ sought trauma support, and new displacements strained resources. Scaling requires urgent external funding to address: •Unmet needs: Food insecurity, shelter, and business expansion. •Systemic gaps: No other providers offered integrated economic/psychological recovery. Sustainable impact hinges on donor partnerships
