At Hope Ignites Initiatives, we believe that lasting peace begins with understanding, inclusion, and economic empowerment. Through our community-led peacebuilding approach, we bring people together through dialogue, conflict resolution, and shared livelihood activities that strengthen unity and social cohesion within refugee communities. To sustain these efforts, we work with five community peace ambassadors who support mediation and help resolve conflicts at the grassroots level. Recognizing poverty as one of the drivers of conflict, we integrate peacebuilding with sustainable livelihood initiatives such as poultry farming, crafts, and agriculture. These activities create opportunities for collaboration, self-reliance, and healing among vulnerable families. So far, 205 families have been supported through reconciliation processes and empowered with chickens as a starting point for rebuilding their livelihoods and promoting peaceful coexistence.
