The SMART Finance Project is a structured financial literacy and livelihood empowerment program designed to strengthen the economic resilience of refugees. Delivered through guided daily training sessions, participants gain practical skills in budgeting, savings discipline, record-keeping, group accountability, and responsible borrowing. Organized into savings groups, members apply lessons through collective saving, peer learning, and mentorship for income-generating activities. Continuous coaching and monitoring ensure knowledge translates into real financial behavior change. With a strong focus on women and youth, the project builds financial confidence, promotes entrepreneurship, reduces dependency, and enables refugee households to plan wisely, invest productively, and achieve sustainable, community-driven prosperity.
