Turkana is one of the most affected counties in Kenya.The increased number of refugees and its geographical features make it to be an area of starvation. It is an arid area where agricultural activities seem impossible.Water is rare,the soil is sandy,the sun is too much making lives hard to lead. The Refugee Alliance for Development and Innovation(RADI) is going to assist provide food with nutritive elements.Crickets farmed are rich in proteins and vitamins and vegetables are rich in vitamins ,iron,…So RADI is going to train people and run the activities.We also work on sustainable agriculture through offering training and tools or seeds that enable refugees and hosts practice kitchen garden in order to have access to food such as cereals, vegetables, legumes and fruits from their own farms.
