The Saidia Community Initiative aimed at empowering vulnerable and unemployed youth with practical skills and fostering social cohesion. The project provided vocational training in trades such as tailoring, and hairdressing, alongside peacebuilding and life-skills sessions promoting teamwork, conflict resolution, and community leadership. Through mentorship and business start-up support, youth were equipped to pursue self-employment and income-generating activities. The initiative also engaged diverse groups, including refugees and host community members, to strengthen peaceful coexistence. As a result, the project enhanced youth livelihoods, reduced tensions, and promoted sustainable community resilience.
