Women Rights & Empowerment

Teach for Community CBO implemented a grassroots initiative to advance women’s rights and empowerment by promoting entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and climate-resilient agribusiness. Through capacity-building workshops, women and girls gained skills in savings, financial decision-making, and access to community finance systems. The project also raised awareness on climate change and equipped participants with sustainable farming and agribusiness practices. By combining rights awareness with livelihood skills, the initiative enabled women to improve incomes, advocate for their rights, and strengthen community resilience.
