We implement regenerative agriculture programmes that equip refugee and host community smallholder farmers with practical skills to grow nutritious food using permaculture and soil restoration principles. Our approach combines hands-on training in regenerative farming techniques, production of organic fertilizers and compost, soil conservation practices, and the provision of high-quality indigenous seeds. In 2024, we delivered a regenerative agriculture project in Nakivale Refugee Settlement that reached over 1,000 refugee and host community members. The project improved household food security, strengthened dietary diversity, restored soil health, and enabled participants to generate income from surplus vegetable production.
