Project Name: PONYESHA (Healing and Rebuilding Our Communities)
Objective:
This project aims to promote psychosocial wellbeing and strengthen community resilience through mental health awareness and support activities.
Key Activities:
Psychosocial support training sessions
Community dialogues on wellbeing and coping mechanisms
Engagement with community leaders
Awareness activities promoting mental health and social cohesion
The project supported 60 participants, including 32 women, 25 men, and 3 persons with disabilities. Community leaders reported improved understanding of psychosocial support and increased openness around mental health issues.
