LESSONS LEARNED

This Project provided an educational framework for us and for everyone involved. A number of lessons were learned, including:

  • Flexibility: We learned that flexibility is essential in designing educational solutions for children in the context of our beneficiaries
  • collaboration : As we have observed, it is difficult to achieve maximum results in an educational project that takes account of children in special situations, such as refugee children, without the collaboration or support of psychologists and game designers to enrich the quality of the project.
  • Active listening to beneficiaries: we realised that children need to be involved in the design process to better undestand their needs and preferences

BEST PRACTICES

We consider certain efforts put in place by our team to be best practice. During this project:

  • We ensured that educational activities were adapted to the individual level of the children
  • we have ensured that educational games are accessible to all children, taking into account lingustic, cultural and material barriers.
  • All children were taken into account by the project and on one was excluded, whatever their nationality, religion or physical ability.
