PROJECT NAME: TRANSFORMATIVE PLAY.

Project objectives:

The project intergrates Numeracy and Literacy skills with (SEL), Physical activities to forster a copmprehensive approach to education and prioritizing children's overall well-being. It aimes to enhance academic performance by developing self-awareness, empathy and positive relationships through SEL. Creating a supportive learning enviroment, it integrates holistic well-being programs into the curriculum, nurturing children's development. Through implementation and evealuation, the project raises awareness about the significance of development, showcasing positive outcomes.

Activities

The "TRANSFORMATIVE PLAY" Prioritizes parents and community engagement, promoting holistic education through workshops and wareness compains.

Infrastructure development included Construction of the classrooms, Offices, Installation of the Gate and Renovation of the fence.

Ongoing activities like: Games, Storytelling, Reading and Social-emotional Learning enhance academic and emotional growth. By creating a supportive enviroment, the project ensures every child's holistic development.

 

Our recent project, "Transformative Play" has made significant strides in advancing holistic education and community engagement. We're thrilled to report that we've successfully reached 2010 children and engaged 53 parents or community stakeholders. Among our beneficiaries, 81 were male and 129 were female, highliting our commitment to gender-inclusive education. During community engagement sessions, we interacted with 21 male and 32 female parents/satakeholders, forstering collaborative partnerships for sustainable impact.

These numbers reflect our dedication to reaching diverse population and creating meaningful change in the lives of children and communities in the Kakuma refugee camp.

Going forward, the lessons learned and best practces will guide our efforts to empower children and communities through education. Through this journey, we rmain steadfast in our commitment to creating a brighter for all.

 

Through "Transformative Play project" Several key lessons best practices have emerged, shaping our approach to holistic education and community engagement. Firsttly, They have learned the importance of interating Numerancy and Literacy skills with Social-emotional Learning (SEL), as it enhance academic performance while nurturing emotinal well-being. This comprehensive approach forster a positive learning enviromenment where children thrive academically and emotionally.

Additionally, our experience highlights the significance of Community involvement and parents engagement in education initiatives. By actively involving parent and community stakeholders, we promote a sense of ownerhip and accountablity, leading to grater support for our programs and sustainable impact.

Further more, our project underscores the importance of gender inclusivity in education. By prioritizing the participation of both male and female beneficiaries, we ensureequitable access to education opportunities and empower all children to reach their full potential.
