Initiative Foundation in Emergencies (IFE) is a non-governmental organization, also known as a Community-Based Organization, established in 2023 in Kakuma Refugee Camp by the Green Union. Our vision is to empower young people through accessible, inclusive, and transformative education. We have focused, since our establishment, on bridging learning gaps through the provision of Remedial Classes to primary and secondary level students who have suffered from disrupted education, language handicaps, and/or insufficient formal educational opportunities. The program helps students catch up on academic skills, prepare for national examinations, and reintegrate into the educational system.
