Initiative Foundation in Emergencies (IFE) spearheaded the "Creative Literacy Circles" project in Kakuma to help children aged 5-16 years. This initiative combined play-based learning, storytelling, and visual microlearning to enhance literacy and emotional resilience. IFE has been providing age-specific sessions in English while using local materials and improvisation to teach. Children participated in reading games, story creation, and expressive art activities. This program promoted inclusive education, increased confidence levels, and peer-to-peer learning across different ages. Caregiver participation and community showcases consolidated learning at home and celebrated the voices of children as agents of change.
