Education for Youth Empowerment (EYE) Uganda implemented a Livelihoods Support Program aimed at improving household income and resilience among vulnerable youth and refugee communities. The project provided practical training in vegetable production and sustainable agriculture, along with distribution of field crop seeds and fruit tree seedlings to strengthen food security and nutrition. Beneficiaries also received provision of goats to support asset-building and sustainable income generation. Financial literacy training, business mentorship, and savings group formation were conducted to improve financial management skills. In addition, participants received small financial assistance to start or expand enterprises. As a result, households increased productivity, income, savings, and self-reliance.
