Hope of refugee women against poverty for the social wellbeing (HOPDEV) In a women’s economic empowerment project focused on Vocational Training on tailoring, we established a training program for local women and Girls to develop their sewing skills. The initiative included workshops on design, production, and business management, enabling participants to create and market their own clothing lines. We provided access to sewing machines and materials, fostering a collaborative environment for skill-sharing. Additionally, we connected the women with local markets to enhance their visibility and sales opportunities. The project not only improved their financial independence but also built a supportive community, empowering participants to inspire others and promote sustainable economic growth in Dzaleka Refugee Camp.
