Spirit of Peace and Solidarity (SPS) is implementing a livelihood project focused on cosmetic product making across refugee camps in Rwanda. This initiative empowers refugees, particularly women and youth, by training them to produce natural, eco-friendly cosmetics such as soaps, lotions, and oils. Using locally sourced materials, participants learn skills that enhance self-reliance and income generation. The project promotes entrepreneurship within refugee communities, enabling participants to sell their products in and around the camps. By fostering economic independence, SPS supports resilience, reduces aid dependency, and improves the quality of life for refugees and their host communities.
