Spirit of Peace and Solidarity (SPS) is implementing a sweet potato porridge project to enhance food security and nutrition among refugees, particularly children and pregnant women in camps. By partnering with JIF, which donates 300kg of sweet potato porridge monthly, SPS promotes sustainable agricultural practices, supporting local farmers in growing sweet potatoes. This initiative empowers refugees by providing essential nutrients while fostering self-reliance through food production. The project's long-term sustainability lies in its dual focus on immediate nutritional needs and encouraging agricultural skills, thereby reducing dependency on food aid and promoting community-driven food security.
