Livelihood Projects Overview Under the Livelihoods section, our organization implements a series of skills development and income-generating initiatives aimed at empowering vulnerable individuals particularly women and youth with the tools and knowledge needed to become self-reliant. These projects focus on building practical, marketable skills that lead to sustainable economic opportunities. The key livelihood projects include: 1. Netting & Weaving This project trains women and youth in traditional and modern weaving techniques to produce nets, mats, and other handwoven products. The items are sold locally to generate income, while also preserving cultural craftsmanship. 2. Small Business & Entrepreneurship Participants receive training in basic business management, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship. The project supports individuals and groups to start and manage small businesses, with guidance on product development, marketing, and access to local markets. 3. Tailoring & Fashion Design This project equips beneficiaries with tailoring, dressmaking, and fashion design skills. Trainees learn how to create clothing for personal use or commercial sale. Many graduates go on to open tailoring shops or work from home, generating steady income. 4. Hairdressing & Beauty Therapy This vocational training program provides skills in hair care, styling, and basic beauty therapy. Graduates often establish their own salons or provide mobile beauty services, creating livelihood opportunities with minimal startup capital
