we are implementing a project with GWBF (Global Whole Being Fund) through COHERE Charity, a ten moths Feb 2024-Dec 2024), The project is involved in more than one income generating activities such as: sending, borrowing, withdrawing and providing money to different VSLA groups (Village saving and loan associations) and these contribute in long run sustainability It is targeting women and youth from refugee communities and Ugandan hosting communities aged between 16-35 located in base camp, Buguta and Kaihora zones and we target both direct 150 participants in 5 formed VSLA groups each with 30 members from the different zones. and indirect beneficiaries 45% of the community women and youth living in Rwamwanja refugee settlement, through sensitization and mobilization where each group will benefit a solidarity lending at a lowest interest rate of 5% per month where they will be able to be resilient.
