our current project, "Gender Equality Promotion among Boys and Girls in Rwamwanja Refugee Settlement" has achieved significant results, including reaching 28,894 learners from different primary schools and training 55 teachers in gender equality education and basics of the ICT. this project has two objectives: 1. To contribute towards promotion of equal educational opportunities for girls and boys with the need to address cultural, religious and other forms of biases particularly against girls. 2. To contribute towards improved knowledge about gender equality and equity among primary school learners in Rwamwanja refugee settlement which in the long run will help eliminate gender discrimination and promote equal participation of men and women in social and economic development of their community.
