This activity involved children to collaborate in more playful way to create structures. Children were encourage to do experiment and learn from failure and be resilient.  The project encourage children to communicate confidently and effectively through interpersonal communication session.

Train supervisor ensured children’s safety and happiness through regular check in. the project also has promoted a sense of community belonging among children in the refugee through activities like showcasing and celebrating achievements. This was the milestone completed in the second cohort project.

Embarking on exciting and transformative journey in education our existing scaling learning through play project focusing on providing ice breaking, creativity, collaboration and building basic skills to children of 9-14 years old as marked the significant impact to the learners who participated in the project. From 4th December –26th January 2024. Learners who were enrolled, influence others to join reaching 138 learners. There are two facilitators managing these learners in two rooms, each class was having two shifts.  But 30 learners who come late after the project starts were registered in the waiting list. 33 learners drop out due to their personal reasons which includes church activities and those from far at their normal schools to home and again to wings to fly learning Centre. 105 learners were using two rooms, 75 learners were using the hall while 30 were using the normal room. 105 learners completed their exams successfully. They were 51 female and 54 male learners graduated successfully and got certificates.

Communication and collaboration –that’s one of the lesson learnt that a project must run effectively since it is being supported by the community leaders and also the entire community in kakuma two zones who are most in touch in promoting the children education.

Feedback- the community and parents who had their children in the program usually give remarkable and incredible responses towards the organization activities for offering quality education services to children in the refugee camp. The feedback from learners and parents is to create the next level for the continuation of learning instead of finishing three month course and be graduated and ends there.

Graduation – during graduation ceremony most children and parents became over exciting, teaches me that the entire community value what is being offered to their children and they are grateful for it and that’s the organization’s mission and vision.

Learner’s commitment: Modules covered really makes our learners more innovative, skillful, and developed attitude to proceed with the learning to their potential careers. From the graduated number of learners motivated us that the project’s target is going to be achieved since more learners and the community are aware of the project.

In conclusion, flexibility, collaboration, communication and commitment is core lesson in the project.
