Kakuma Bee Social Enterprise Ltd (KBSE Ltd), registered in Kenya, is a Refugee community-driven agribusiness organization established in 2019 with the headquarters in Kakuma Refugee Camp. It empowers refugee and host communities to improve their socio-economic well-being through Agriculture specifically agribusiness enterprises, advisory and mentorship services, and market-based industries such as tailoring for women and youth, video and photography training, and livelihoods diversification. KBSE Ltd interventions are delivered through a network of training centers and community coaches and mentors. The organization uses a market-based approach in imparting knowledge and skills to beneficiaries to build their resilience and self-reliance mechanisms. These outcomes are facilitated through promoting and incubating enterprise initiatives to become viable, profitable, competitive, and sustainable. As a result, the organization significantly contribute to food and income security, enterprise development, and community integration.
