Bridge of Solidarity is a CBO in Uganda dedicated to promoting accessible, quality healthcare and empowering refugees. Recognizing gaps in treatment for conditions like epilepsy, glaucoma, and untreated surgical needs, BSO launched the CARE FOR ALL program in 2022. This initiative has supported over 1,100 people with epilepsy, provided epilepsy medication, EEG testing, awareness, and enabled 165 successful surgeries. BSO’s AMARYLLIS program addresses psychosocial and livelihood challenges, offering mental health support, vocational and digital training, and economic empowerment. The Amaryllis Self-Help Group empowers SGBV survivors through savings and loans. Thirty-two women have received business training and startup capital. BSO distributed 400 solar lamps and clothing to over 1,500 marginalized individuals. A digital training center has been launched to equip young refugees with skills in e-commerce, digital literacy, and access to global opportunities.
