Environmental Protection

The programme achieved the followings: • Developed a demonstration garden or landscaping plot using native plant species to encourage restoration of the local natural habitat and water conservation. We managed to produce and distribute over 90,000 seedlings and establish a 10 acres woodlot trees for our tree planting campaign. • Conducted a series of training programs for over 670 small farmers on how to make and use organic fertilizers and pesticides. • We hosted 25 community debates on controversial environmental issues. • Partnered with 30 environmental activists to dig 2 valley in the swamps, and then held dialogue meetings and trainings to promote using the valley tank for watering and irrigation.
