Sexual & Reproductive Health & Rights (SRHR)

In 2024, the AEJT -TRD implemented a project entitled "Strong girls, safe future" in Uvira and Fizi, targeting 180 young refugee and vulnerable girls. The project combined leadership, sexual and reproductive rights, entrepreneurial skills (sewing, soap, ecological agriculture and sustainable landscapes), and psychosocial support. Each beneficiary has received a starting kit and personalized follow -up. At the end of the project, more than 70 % of the participants launched an income -generating activity, and several joined local advocacy clubs for the protection of girls. The project has strengthened their autonomy and reduces operating risks
