As part of the work, we are doing in our GBV and WASH Community Engagement & Awareness Project, we are trying to raise awareness of Gender-based Violence (GBV) & water sanitation hygiene (WASH) practices. Through its community engagement, the project is providing educational workshops on GBV prevention, rights awareness, and support services for survivors. It also forwards hygiene education, and provision of safe water and sanitation services to lessen the health hazards. It works to promote a culture of respect, safety, and well-being within the communities it is hoste in, facilitates community-led campaigns against GBV, and advocates for policies that protect vulnerable populations from GBV and guarantee access to essential WASH services.
