To develop Generative agriculture and livestock for rural and refugees as the main economic activity to open a number of opportunities to rural and refugee households to augment food and income security using the available services smallholder farmers have. Program strategic goal: The main goal of this program is to enable the rural, refugees and marginalized smallholder farmers to access to rentable farming and livestock and develop a rentable economy activity to fulfill basic needs and market demand for socio-economic development. Four efficacious transformations are to be seen in achieving this goal: 1. Smallholder youth farmers meet together, share their common problems, discuss and look for the possible solutions using the available resources their have or what they can afford. Demonstration sites are established. 2. The harvests of agricultural products augmented and profitable to both farmers and businesspersons 3. The rural and refugee smallholder farmers graduated up from substance farming to agribusiness/ modern farming. 4. They diversified food through sustainable home gardening, fruit frees planting and optimization of land. Interventions: 1. We expect to establish 3 demonstration sites to bring smallholder farmers together for exchange experiences and bring innovation ideas to tackle farmer problems. 2. Gathered in the ideas and experience sharing spaces to talk about their price and other mechanisms of commercialization of yields. This shall need to partner and capacity strengthening to business saving group members/ entrepreneurs, the formation of smallholder farmers and entrepreneurs groups will be encouraged and support their formalization and collaboration with local leaders to influence the local led development. 3. The delivered of farming trainings, seed capital and Agri-inputs to strength the capacity of farmers in an optimized farming will be the key elements in helping them unlock their agricultural activity to agribusiness. The smallholder farmers shall be rural and refugee women, girls, men and marginalized persons. They will be encouraged to form business saving groups as a resource of capital. 4. With more than 250 home gardens shall be established and 4500 fruit trees shall be distributed to people of special need in 2025 and 2026. We aim to see every households have home gardening.
