Pro-Right for Refugees implemented a Basic Needs support project in Kalobeyei Settlement to assist vulnerable refugee households, with a focus on persons with disabilities, older persons, and caregivers. The project provided essential non-food items, food supplements, and basic household supplies to families facing extreme hardship. Through community assessments and referrals, the project identified those most in need and ensured dignified, fair distribution. In addition, beneficiaries received information on access to services and protection support. The intervention helped reduce negative coping mechanisms, improved household wellbeing, and strengthened community resilience by ensuring vulnerable refugees could meet their basic daily needs with dignity.
