RAF implemented an SRHR and SGBV prevention project to promote gender equality and protect vulnerable groups in Rwamwanja Refugee Settlement. The project reached over 500 women, men, girls, and boys through community awareness sessions on sexual and reproductive health rights, gender-based violence prevention, and available support services. Participants were trained on topics such as consent, healthy relationships, and reporting mechanisms. RAF also engaged men and boys as allies in addressing harmful gender norms. As a result, community members increased their knowledge of rights, improved attitudes toward gender equality, and strengthened their capacity to prevent and respond to SGBV cases within their communities.
