SOFERES implemented a Food and Nutrition Security project in Dzaleka Refugee Camp, aimed at improving food production and dietary diversity for refugee women and their families. The project provided training in sustainable farming techniques, kitchen gardening, and poultry rearing to help women produce their own food and generate income. Additionally, SOFERES introduced nutrition workshops to educate participants on balanced diets, food preservation, and child nutrition. The initiative reached over 500 women, helping them increase their food security, improve their families' nutrition, and reduce dependence on food aid, fostering self-reliance within the refugee community.
