SOFERES implemented a livelihoods support project in Dzaleka Refugee Camp aimed at empowering refugee women through income-generating activities. The project provided women with training in tailoring, business management, and financial literacy, enabling them to establish cooperatives and small businesses. By offering micro-loans and market linkage support, SOFERES helped participants grow their enterprises and achieve financial independence. The initiative not only enhanced household income but also built women’s confidence and resilience, contributing to the overall economic stability of their families and the community. Over 1,000 women benefited from the project, gaining essential skills and opportunities for sustainable livelihoods.
