One of our key projects focused on Early Childhood Development (ECD) aimed at promoting inclusive education and mental health for young refugees in Kakuma. This initiative provided training for educators on inclusive teaching practices and integrated mental health support into the curriculum. We established safe spaces for children affected by Gender-Based Violence (GBV), creating an environment conducive to learning and emotional healing. Additionally, we engaged parents through advocacy workshops, emphasizing the importance of mental health and educational access. Livelihood programs were introduced for caregivers, ensuring economic stability, which further supported children's educational outcomes. The project successfully reached over 500 children and families, enhancing their resilience and well-being.
