Volunteers Movement for Humanitarian Rescue (VMHR) actively supports the agriculture sector by monitoring farmers and training newcomers through a hands-on, "learning by doing" approach. We equip them with innovative farming techniques, including irrigation systems, and assist in securing land by liaising with the host community to ensure safety. Our training focuses on teaching farmers about seed varieties that are resilient in semi-arid regions, while also guiding them on hazard mitigation strategies. Through these efforts, we empower farmers to thrive in challenging environments and build sustainable, secure agricultural practices for long-term success.
