WOPEDE, in partnership with Re-Build, IRC and Pamoja Trust, implemented a livelihood program focusing on skills and product development in tailoring and basket weaving, financial literacy, and e-commerce. The six-month training brought together 50 participants from both refugee and host communities, fostering inclusion and collaboration. Through the program, participants enhanced their technical skills, improved product quality, and gained knowledge in managing finances and leveraging digital markets. This holistic approach empowered them to strengthen existing businesses, access new income opportunities, and build sustainable livelihoods. The initiative contributed to self-reliance, resilience, and peaceful coexistence within the Kitengela community.
