WOPEDE, in collaboration with Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS) under the Missio Aachen program, is implementing a mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) initiative with 60 participants from refugee and host communities. The training equips participants with practical knowledge and coping skills to address stress, trauma, and depression in their daily lives. Participants are learning how to recognize signs of mental health challenges, seek appropriate help, and provide peer support to others within their families and communities. This program is strengthening individual resilience, enhancing community wellbeing, and fostering a supportive environment where mental health is openly acknowledged and addressed.
