Drug Abuse Prevention

Youth Co-operation for Ideas (YCI) having seen drug abuse prevalent amongst the urban Somali refugee youths initiated the rehabilitation project eventually becoming the current Pinnacle Rehabilitation Centre which operates as a business since the project never got donor support despite numerous proposals and concept notes sent. Nonetheless, the refugees decided to solve their issues themselves and thus the current Pinnacle Rehabilitation Centre operates as a result. Profits are not shared but rather supports the work of the NGO owning the business which is Youth Co-operation for Ideas (YCI). Below picture shows a group therapy of such youths.
