Tenda Wema

About us

Tenda Wema Community Project is located in Kitengela – a town in Kajiado County about 30km from Nairobi town. Tenda Wema came into being when they recognised that many refugee children in their community were struggling to access education and livelihoods. This resulted to them pulling resources together and sending a few students to school. With an increase in the need for education access, Tenda Wema formalised their operations and registered as a community-based organisation in 2020.
