About Community Alliance Network (CAN)

Community Alliance Network (CAN) is a registered nonprofit, non-political, non-racial community based organization that is a Refugee led comprising of both nationals and refugees, it was founded in 2019 by a group of peace activists with an idea of building Synergies, Empowering, Transforming and Developing women and girls which are affected from influx of war or natural calamities which has resulted into displacement. Refugee, asylum seekers and returnees face undesirable conditions and marginalization / high vulnerability rate to meet equal socioeconomic wellbeing especially women, youths and persons with disability. Hence making them to live in dependence and isolation. In order for displaced women and girls to thrive to a resilient lifestyle and live in inclusivity with high dignity, CAN therefore aimed to subsidize as a frontline actor in contributing to humanitarian provision.
