ICSS has distributed fruit tree seedlings to 3,000 households in Zones 1 and 2 of the Bidi bidi refugee settlement, with the aim of promoting environmental protection. Additionally, we have constructed 2,000 energy-saving cookstoves in the same zones. These stoves are designed to use less firewood, produce less smoke, and cook food more efficiently. Furthermore, we have maintained five woodlots covering a total of 100 hectares through agroforestry initiatives and cash-for-work programs. These efforts involve activities like strip weeding and gap filling to ensure the sustainability of the woodlots.
