Sudanese Women’s Association for Peace and Development takes the affirmation of women’s rights as a principle and a mission that must be achieved throughout its practical path. We address that principle from the standpoint of Resolution 1325 and all the regional and international treaties and conventions that raise the status and preserve the dignity of women and girls. The best example of this is that the association raises women and girls’ capabilities in knowing their rights and how to exercise them peacefully. Among our most prominent activities in implementing the axes of Resolution 1325, we raise women’s capabilities in leadership and management of public affairs and communities, as well as providing sources of funding them financially to reach financial freedom and decision-making positions.
