Mental Health & Well-being Support

Addressing Mental Health through Community Engagement In an effort to address mental health-related issues within the community, Tomorrow Vijana organized a comprehensive sports clinic event, which proved to be a highly effective platform for raising awareness and fostering community engagement. The event hosted 58 teams, with 12 female teams and 46 male teams participating, demonstrating our commitment to inclusivity and gender balance in mental health initiatives. The sports clinic was strategically designed to attract large numbers of community members, leveraging the popularity of sports to convey vital mental health messages. The event successfully engaged 1,160 players directly in the activities, creating an environment where participants could benefit from both physical exercise and mental health support. Additionally, the event in a period of 3 weekends drew an impressive 7660 spectators, all of whom were exposed to targeted mental health messages throughout the sports clinic. This approach allowed us to reach a broad audience, making significant strides in breaking down stigma, promoting mental health awareness, and encouraging open discussions about mental well-being. The high level of participation and engagement underscores the effectiveness of sports as a tool for addressing mental health issues within the community.
