Due to the increase of Gender Based Violence (GBV) related issues, there was a need to create awareness among the refugees and host communities about GBV as a whole and then specifically on child marriage, domestic violence, sexual exploitation/abuse, and psychological abuse. This project seeks to share light on the urgent need to address GBV within the refugee and host communities. We carried out sensitization to raise awareness by deepening their understanding of the root causes, consequences, effective interventions the aim of the project is to strive towards a society that upholds the rights and dignity of all individuals regardless of their displacement status whether in the aspect of child marriage, domestic violence, sexual exploitation /abuse and psychological abuse. We carried out sensitization in the 3 refugee settlements and host communities basically to create awareness of the effect of child marriage
