Functional Adults Literacy/FAL Program; The NLDA's Language Training Program, launched in 2020, focuses on integrating refugees into host communities by offering language courses. It provides training in French, English, and Kiswahili to adults with language barriers, humanitarian workers, and host community members to enhance communication skills. Additionally, literacy and numeracy classes are available, with a focus on women, including SGBV survivors and vulnerable groups, representing 80% of the participants. The program aims to equip learners with practical language skills applicable in professional, educational, and personal contexts, fostering greater integration and self-reliance for both refugees and local communities.
