RAI runs the Refugee Entrepreneurship Program, which cultivates entrepreneurship skills in youths seeking self-employment and offers small business development support to refugee startups. The program targets youths aged 18 to 35 and includes entrepreneurship skills training, business coaching and mentorship, business grants, and revolving funds. We also collaborate with microfinancing institutions to provide growing trades with financial support and on-the-clock guidance from banking and savings specialists. The observed long-term impact of this program since 2018 has been the creation of sustainable businesses, increased financial independence among participants, and a notable boost in the local economy, with many participants becoming community role models and employers themselves.
