Resilience Action International (RAI) led the "Young Lights Health Education" project in Kalobeyei Settlement Scheme, focusing on improving sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) among refugee youth aged 14-24. The project provided comprehensive SRHR education, established school sexual and reproductive health clubs, and set up free sexual and reproductive health toll-lines for accessible information. We engaged community stakeholders through workshops to garner support for Sex-Ed in schools and advocated for increased SRHR funding and prioritization by humanitarian and government actors. The project also distributed sanitary kits to girls in school, benefiting 2,340 youths over 24 months and empowering them to make informed decisions about their reproductive health and rights.
